Credo (which means "I Believe") is based on the historic Nicene Creed and follows its structure, divided into three principal sections: "God the Father," "The Lord Jesus Christ" and "The Holy Spirit." The text of the Nicene Creed is freely interpolated with passages from scripture, hymn texts and original verse which heighten the significance of the Creed's timeless words.

Credo may be performed either as a concert work or in a dramatic setting with staging, lighting and choreography. However simple or elaborate its presentation, Credo serves as a joyful celebration of faith.

Several of the pieces in Credo can also be used individually in worship services throughout the year.
